Matthew
J. Dennis, CFA: Mr. Dennis is Clear Perspective Group's founder and senior managing director. He has created and implemented highly successful investor relations programs for public companies in all major industries from consumer products to electronics, energy to finance, healthcare to manufacturing, and textiles to transportation. Previously, he was employed by McDonald & Company Securities, Inc. (which later became McDonald Financial Group, a Key company [NYSE: KEY], and was subsequently acquired by UBS AG [NYSE:UBS]), a regional investment banking firm located in Cleveland, Ohio. Mr. Dennis began his financial career in New York City at the global investment bank Kidder Peabody (acquired by Paine Weber in 1997 and, in turn, by UBS AG [NYSE: UBS] in 2000).
Mr. Dennis is president-elect of the Northern Ohio Chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI) and past president of the CFA Society of Cleveland and is its current treasurer. Currently, he serves on the Board of Directors of both organizations. A CFA Charterholder, he is an active member of the CFA Institute (CFAI) and sits on its President’s Council.
Mr. Dennis earned his MBA in Banking and Finance from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and his bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. In addition, Mr. Dennis holds a degree in Agronomy from Ohio State University, and acts as a mentor to graduate business students at Case Western Reserve University.
His background and familiarity with both the regional and global investment communities, as well as his extensive hands-on IR experience, have resulted in valuable relationships in the key financial centers and beyond. Carol D. Moran: Ms. Moran is a seasoned business writer with an extensive record of creating innovative, effective corporate communications. Her broad-based experience in the clear, concise articulation of key messages to internal and external audiences—employees, shareholders, the news media, and the general public—helps clients build credibility and a reputation for transparency that is essential in today’s sensitive business environment.
Prior to joining Clear Perspective Group as managing director and lead writer, Carol was an investor relations consultant and senior financial writer at SM Berger & Company in Beachwood, Ohio, where she wrote and produced a wide variety of projects, including annual and quarterly reports, news releases, research reports, executive scripts, and investor fact sheets.
Previously, she served, in turn, as senior editor/writer, Graphic Services; senior writer, Investor Relations; and communications specialist, Corporate Public Relations, at the headquarters location of Hercules Incorporated (NYSE: HPC), a global chemical specialties company based in Wilmington, Delaware. Before that, she was an information searcher in the IT department of the Hercules Research Center. Well-versed in the creation of all manner of public relations and marketing materials, and with a strong background in research, production and design, she directly contributed to such diverse projects as the development of web content, conceptual advertisements and brochures, newsletters, presentations, exhibits, and corporate identity and branding initiatives, to name a few.
Additionally, as former president of Hercules Women’s Club, Carol has personally contributed her skills, as well as elbow-grease, to community service initiatives for such organizations as Child, Inc., Girls, Inc., and the United Way.
Ms. Moran is a 1971 graduate of the University of Delaware. She has been active in the International Association of Business Communicators and is a recipient of numerous awards in the areas of leadership, service, and communications.

Steven D.
Hawke: With strong analytical and interpersonal skills and a proven performance record, Mr. Hawke brings a host of capabilities to bear in his position as investor relations analyst for Clear Perspective Group. In this role, he supports the investor relations activities of client companies by employing industry best practices and in-depth industry research and trend analysis, adding significant value to a company’s investment thesis. His contributions include financial modeling, peer-company surveillance, channel checks, and closely monitoring industry analysts’ views and opinions relevant to CPG’s client companies. This practice ensures that each client’s message is optimally and consistently presented within the proper context of contemporary industry dynamics.
Prior to joining CPG, he worked at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network, where he gained practical field experience as a financial sales representative and earned a reputation for consistently exceeding goals and objectives.
Mr. Hawke graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Finance, from the University of Akron. He is currently pursuing the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
CPG’s clients benefit from Steve’s thorough knowledge of financial modeling and statistical collection and analysis techniques, as well as his long-term relationship-centered approach. Moreover, his professional-grade command of sophisticated research tools such as Reuters, Bloomberg, Knobias, and Factiva provides clients with a valuable “on-call” resource.
Katherine M. Khoury: Ms. Khoury is Clear Perspective Group’s shareholder services specialist. Her strong interpersonal skills and background in journalism lend themselves uniquely to CPG’s needs, making her an integral part of the CPG team.
Ms. Khoury attended Kent State University, where she served as proofreader/copy editor of the campus Daily Kent Stater, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Journalism, cum laude, from the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
Prior to joining CPG, Ms. Khoury was employed as a business reporter/copy editor for The Gazette—a daily newspaper serving Medina County, Ohio. While at The Gazette, in addition to her other responsibilities, she wrote a weekly Business Beat and numerous front-page features.
Focusing on critical client and investor services, Ms. Khoury manages logistics for company road shows, executive travel, and institutional investor meetings. By professionally arranging investor itineraries and coordinating venue-related services, she makes certain that management’s time is optimally allocated when meeting with investors. In addition, she is charged with expediting delivery of investor materials, maintaining IR pages and distribution lists on client websites, and developing compelling investor presentations that effectively articulate the investment merits of CPG’s clients.
